Dentures Dentist Hillsboro, Aloha, Forest Grove, OR
A functional & aesthetic approach to your smile
Dentures are the simple way to replace lost teeth
Are you missing multiple teeth? Dentures restore your smile and improve your quality of life by giving you back your ability to eat, speak, and smile normally. At Smith Dental, we offer a variety of options to fix your smile. Talk to our dentures dentists in Hillsboro, Aloha, or Forest Grove today to get started.
How does it work?
There are two types of dentures: partial and complete. When some natural teeth remain, partial dentures may be a viable option for you. Additionally, implant-supported dentures may also be an option. This hybrid approach combines as few as 4 implants with a permanent denture to restore your smile.
We’ll help you understand what type of denture is best for you, and what you can expect from the process.
Benefits of dentures
- Improve your smile and fill out your facial appearance
- Reduce the risk of oral infection
- Easy to clean and take care of
- More cost-effective option than other treatment options for missing teeth
Good to know
When you first get your dentures, it may take some time to get used to wearing them. Be patient as you adjust to your new teeth. Practice by saying difficult words out loud, and with time and patience, they will be easier to pronounce. Try to eat soft foods in the beginning, and be cautious of hard, sticky foods.

What our patients say
This is the best dentist I’ve been to. They do only what is needed instead of suggesting procedures to make money. They are professional and warm-hearted at the same time.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to wear dentures 24 hours a day?
We’ll discuss with you how long to wear your denture each day and when to remove it. Removing your denture before going to bed allows gum tissues to rest and normal cleansing by the tongue and saliva.
How painful is it to get dentures?
Getting dentures is not painful. You may experience minor irritation as you adjust to wearing your new dentures, which will fade as your mouth gets used to it.
Can you drink coffee with dentures?
Coffee, tea, and cola have the highest staining effect on all types of dentures because they have dark colors and high acid content. Just like regular teeth, dentures need proper care and cleaning to avoid developing stains.
