Dr. Erik Smith
Dr. Erik Smith grew up in Beaverton, OR. He received his bachelor’s degree in Biology at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. He went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in Buffalo, New York. He began working with Smith Dental in 2015, and is passionate about helping patients feel confident about the health and appearance of their teeth.
Dr. Erik’ is an enthusiastic family man, He and his wife Kaitlyn have fun trying to keep up with their three energetic children. He is a proud Eagle Scout who loves exercising, cooking, and reading. Having Smith Dental so close to his hometown means that ‘Dr. Erik’ is able to directly give back to the community that raised him and continue to build meaningful relationships with his neighbors.
Dr. Erik’s’ promise to the community is to treat every new or current patient like they are a part of his own family. Helping find the best solutions for any dental treatment is his commitment to the members of the Smith Dental family.

Dr. Travis Baskerville
We are excited to announce the addition of Dr. Travis Baskerville to our team!
Dr. Travis is equally committed to providing the same high-quality dentistry you have come to expect at Smith Dental. He graduated from Oregon Health and Science University and still lives in Portland. He shares our compassion for our patients, and he brings his love of education into the office.
When Dr. Travis is out of the office, he likes to spend his free time cycling around town or at the coast. He’s fond of his cat, Rogue, and the Portland Trail Blazers. Dr. Travis is a lifetime student; he loves to learn about the world around him. The best way he knows how to do that is to learn about his patients. He is excited to meet you and hear your story!

Dr. Andrew J. Orr
Dr. Andrew J. Orr grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada. After completing his B.S. in Biological Sciences and his Doctorate of Dental Medicine at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Dr. Orr spent several years as a dentist aiding the underserved community of Joplin, Missouri. After sampling the Midwest Dr. Orr was excited to get back to his West Coast Routes in Oregon.
When it comes to patient care, Dr. Orr knows no strangers. He takes the time to listen to the concerns and needs of each patient and is committed to delivering the best quality and care.
Outside of the office, Dr. Orr enjoys traveling and the outdoors with his wife, Nancy, and their crazy dogs, Charlie and Echo. After exploring the country, Dr. Orr and his family have made a new home near Portland to be closer to family and Oregon’s natural beauty.
